Askitiki (Salvatores Dei, The Saviors of God) is a book by the Greek writer Nikos Kazantzakis (1883-1957), with contemplative and philosophical content. Its writing began in 1922. The work underwent various revisions until 1945, when it appears complete. In this work we can find the famous phrase of the author, which is also inscribed on his tomb: "I hope for nothing, I fear nothing, [...], I am free."
